Baptism is a public service of the church, where a young person seeks God's blessing and is welcomed into the church family. As parents and Godparents, you will make promises in which you recognise your new responsibilities, and affirm your intention to bring your chid up within the life of the church. Equally, the church congregation promises to provide the help and support you will need in doing this.

We find that a baptism is most meaningful if you have been attending our services for a while and got to know some of the church members . We do no not start by booking a date, but will work with you to find a time that is appropriate for you and the church. Baptisms are normally held during the 10.30am service on the 3rd Sunday of a month.

The best place to start is at one of our All Together Worship services, at 10.30am on the 1st Sunday of every month. These services are very relaxed and informal, and include a variety of ways to look at a biblical theme through crafts, activities and discussions. We encourage children to attend  all our Sunday services, where they either have their own teaching groups or are part of the united congregation.

To enquire further about a baptism, please speak to the Minister after any morning service.
