Flowers

Is there anyone who would like to assist with setting up the flower arrangements in church? Please speak to Gill Johnson – she would very much appreciate some extra help at the moment.

Children and Young People: Sunday activities, YNOTT, Church youth group, Midweek groups (Little Angels, Messy Church), Summer holiday club, Good Friday activities.
Pastoral: Visiting, Home groups, Baptism preparation and support, Prayer support, Home Communion.

Prayer

We welcome anyone who would like to pray regularly for the needs of the church and for those who have asked for prayer.  This would not involve meetings – just individuals praying in their own time.  If you are interested please see Lillian Walker or phone her on 01296 433235.

Pastoral Care team

The purpose of the team is to provide pastoral assistance to members of the church and to the wider community, as appropriate, and to ensure that the church shows the love of God in the way it welcomes visitors and friends, and responds to their needs.

  • The team’s work is expected to include:
  • Visiting the elderly and the sick at home or in hospital
  • Offering practical assistance, particularly to the housebound
  • Liaison with baptism families
  • Marriage preparation
  • Welcoming people as they arrive for Sunday services

Please think and pray about this, as it is a very important part of our church.

If you know of anyone who would like a house-visit, or is hospitalised, please let Tony Willis or Julie Willis know.  Also, if there is anyone who is house-bound or sick who would like their communion at home, please let us know (01296 431934).
